Dear students,

we are sending you further information concerning your final theses for this academic year:

Bachelor theses are submitted in specific terms that are listed in the schedule of each academic year (see https://fhs.cuni.cz/FHSENG-1111.html#11).

You do not have to submit your work to the Secretariat for Bachelor Study but one copy (lath or thermo binding, not ring binding) should be brought to the defense.

The bachelor thesis is at first submitted in the electronic form to the SIS – this electronic version has to be inserted into SIS till the deadline for submission.

State final exams will be held in person.

State final exams may be organized remotely only if there are objective external circumstances that do not allow exams to be held in person (e.g. illness or quarantine).

But organizing state final exams remotely is exceptional and unique.

To remind you:

• You register not for a specific date, but for the period in which you want to complete the state final examination (SFE) in a given semester. The periods are always set in the academic year schedule and are three (January / February, May / June, September).

• The deadline for submitting an application for defense is given by the schedule of the academic year.

• The application form for the defense together with the list of literature should be printed via the SIS. The completed and signed application will be sent by the student to the Faculty Coordinator Mgr. Kateřina Jirsová, room 1.08 (Pátkova 2137/5, 182 00 Praha 8 - Libeň.

• After signing in to the SIS, click the Final exams icon. You must sign in electronically to all the parts of the SFE. I.e. for Defense of Bachelor Thesis and Humanities Exam as well.
